This is the conversation that happens in the first ten minutes of a first lesson, written down so you can have it for free and decide whether any of this is for you. You will not write code here. You will write a plan. Across three modules you work out which of five jobs you are actually aiming at, what the day looks like in each one, what it pays in the first year, and what it wants from you that you do not have yet. Then you close the gap on paper: a target role, a gap list, a ninety-day sequence, and the first thing you are going to build. Two positions run through all of it. The field you are leaving is the asset, not the handicap — a journalist, a QA engineer, a salesperson and a maths graduate each arrive holding something the people already inside do not have. And nobody is paid to find technical problems. They are paid to tell a business what those problems cost it.
